Programming Practicum

  • 2025 Curriculum

Description

This course prepares students to implement C++ programs with variables, input, operators, branching and looping, implement arrays, strings, searching, sorting, functions, recursion and structs in C++, explain the structure of C++ programs and their execution flow through tracing, and explain program output and the errors that occur. Study materials: Foundations of Programming Languages (FPL), Algorithmic Foundations (AL).

Topics

  1. C++ programs with variables, input, operators, branching and loops
  2. Arrays, strings, searching, sorting, functions, recursion and structs in C++
  3. C++ program structure and its execution flow through tracing
  4. Program output and errors that occur
