Generative Steganography

  • 2025 Curriculum

Description

This course prepares students to explain the principles of steganography and steganalysis, implement steganography techniques based on generative models, and evaluate the security and robustness of steganography against detection. Study materials: Algorithmic Foundations (AL), Mathematical and Statistical Foundations (MSF), Security (SEC).

Topics

  1. Principles and types of steganography
  2. Classical steganography in images, audio and text
  3. Fundamentals of generative models
  4. Steganography based on generative models
  5. Steganalysis and detection of hidden messages
  6. Evaluation of steganographic capacity, quality and security

Course Learning Outcomes (CLO)

Each course outcome derives from one programme outcome.

  1. CPMK-KSMI-02

Students are able to evaluate security by appropriately applying defence strategies to infrastructure and mobile devices.

    CPLP02

Supported PLOs
